A cousin sleepover

We had the five oldest grandkids come for a sleepover one night during the holiday break.

 

We had Italian sodas and pizza.

 

We played games

And watched movies

We all had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast.  Except Logan didn't want any.  He just wanted to keep sleeping..

Christmas 2015

Alex spent the night with us.  We opened presents Christmas morning and had a yummy breakfast complete with fresh squeezed orang juice.

 

 

 

Then we drove 5 minutes up the hill to see what the Stowers bunch got from Santa. They were outside, with no shoes, and it was 12 degrees out there.

 

Then we drove the 3 minutes from Holly's house over to Ashley's to see what they all got.

We "paid it forward" to all the times people had our sons over for dinner, and had the missionaries over for Christmas dinner.

That night some of the kids came to our house for grilled cheese and soup.

We got to face time with Steph, Jared and Shad to see what our New Yorkers got for Christmas.

Shad had told Santa all he wanted for Christmas was something green.

They went to see lights somewhere in Brooklyn.

Christmas Eve 2015

Dave's dad was able to come home from the care center for 4 hours. So we went over to his house to visit him for awhile.  Then we went to my parents' house for the usual Christmas Eve dinner.

Christmas Eve Eve 2015

We also celebrated Megan's birthday at our Christmas Eve Eve dinner this year.  I made her a salted caramel ice cream pie for her birthday cake.

 

We got a new table.  With it's leaves in, it can seat up to 14 people, if we squish them on the ends.  I love it.

The angel and wise men

This little shepherd, who wouldn't keep his costume on, just wanted to touch the Baby Jesus.

Right in the middle of the Nativity program, Mitt wandered past showing everyone his belly.

Joseph snagged one of the wise men's presents.  And this is the sweetest little shepherd girl ever.

After about 10 tries, we got a picture with everyone looking forward.
