Trip to San Diego - Day 7

Holly and Cody and their family left early to drive back home.  Dave and I had the day with just each other.  We first drove over to Mission Beach.  It was cold and rainy.

We went to Old Town after that.

Lunch was the most amazing Mexican Food.

We watched a lady make these corn tortillas.  The best I think I've ever had.

After that we went to the temple.  Then to dinner at the Fashion Valley Mall and lastly to a movie that night.

The next morning we got up bright and early and drove the 12 hours back home.  I absolutely loved this trip.  The only thing that could have made it better was to have the rest of the family with us.

Trip to San Diego - Day 6

It was back to Sea Port Village again.  This time with the Stowers fam.

We sent this picture to Scott.  He and Dave call each other Horse Head all the time.

The hammock shop is always a hit.

Photo bombed

After lunch at the Corvette Diner we drove over to Point Loma to experience the tide pools.

We drove up to La Jolla.  We saw 4 gray whales just off of the shore.

And more stinky seals.

At the San Diego Temple we took the kids with us back to the condos.  Holly and Cody stayed and did some temple work.

I have seriously got to figure out a way to use the selfie stick without it making me look twice as big as everyone else.

Trip to San Diego - Day 5

Headed out to Coronado on Wednesday morning.  The Stowers family rented a bike for awhile.

The bike rental place wouldn't let Mitt ride.  So Dave and I hung out with him.

We sneaked him on for a picture, at least.

Then we hit the beach again.  It was chilly.

The kids wanted to head back to the condo so they could go on the waterslide before it closed.  I think Dave went down it more then any of the kidlets did, haha.
