4th of July 2013

Dave and I had just had to drive up to North Ogden for the Cherry Days Parade on the morning of the 4th of July.  We've done it for so many years.  And we wanted to see family before we headed to the mountains later in the afternoon.

Ash and Jud had saved us a nice shady spot this year.  It was the most pleasant time I have ever had watching this parade.

The kids were all decked out in their patriotice outfits.

They all got a pretty good stash of candy.

Then Ashley and Jud invited us over for a barbeque at their house.  Jud had smoked some pork in his Traeger and it was delish.

Jack and Logan love hanging onto Alex's legs.

Brigham with his Unckie Roo.

Logan, ever the nut, was smashing watermelon on his head.  (I sometimes wonder what goes on in that cute little head of his.)

It got to 103 degrees that afternoon.  So sprinklers under the trampoline were a hit.

Brigham with his Grandma Mason.

Two grandmas.

Livie would read day and night if she could.

Being with family and no expectations always make for a memorable and extremely enjoyable holiday.  God Bless America.
