New York - June 2015 - Day 3

Jared had flown back to Utah to get their car.  Stephanie was trying to get her New York Nurses license.  So she spent the day at the hotel on the computer.  Dave, Shad and I drove out to the Hamptons.

First we stopped at Sag Harbor.

We ate lunch with this view.

Lobster bisque and lobster roll.

We seldom let our own kids ride on the toys in stores.  We can't resist when a grandchild asks us though.

Downtown Sag Harbor had several.  We let Shad ride on them all.

Then we drove all the way to the end of Long Island to Montauk to see the lighthouse. (Shad chose a baseball bat for his souvenir.

Dave and I took turns going to the top of the lighthouse.

The stairs would have been too difficult for little Shad.

He was content to play ball in the shadow of the lighthouse.

And he was pretty happy when we stopped in South Hampton for ice cream, too.
