The downside to building a new home is putting in a yard. It's a lot of work, for sure. The ground here is as hard as cement. Dave had to rent this major piece of heavy machinery to level an area for a patio.
I filled up the bed of the truck twice with weeds I pulled. Of course, it happened to be the hottest day of the year so far. I think I had a little heat stroke when I finished. I was dizzy and had chills the rest of the afternoon as I tried to rehydrate my body.
I watched this little guy the next day and couldn't resist taking a picture when he put on Jack's hat. That sweet little face is the best.
