Lily's Birthday

It's crazy that our oldest granddaughter turned ten this year.  What a beauty.
It was still warm enough to celebrate her Sunday birthday dinner outside.

Dad Grose loved hanging out on the patio with some of his great grandkids.

Lily is a very resourceful and creative kiddo.  When she saw how expensive an American Girl café set was, she made her own.

We got to go over to the Stowers for ice cream pie on her actual birthday.

Cody's mom used to play them a birthday song on a record player.  He still had the record and so we brought over our record player so the kids could her it.  They were fascinated.

Later in the week, Dave and I took her on her birthday date.  She always chooses Chinese food.

We took her shopping for her present and she chose a toy talking parrot that repeats everything you say to it.

Happy Birthday to our dear sweet Lily, or Lulu and Dave likes to call her.
 We love you.
