This past week we took Dave's dad on a road trip to visit relatives in Oregon. We took a little detour along the way to see Crater Lake. There was still quite a bit of snow and we had to enter through the south entrance.
I like the icicles hanging down in this pic. We actually went to Crater Lake Lodge and up to the third and fourth floors to get these pictures. It was too cold, snowy and windy to see much, otherwise.
Here we are up on the fourth floor. The previous two photos were take from these windows. Now Dave and I want to come back some day, in the summer, and stay here. It was amazing!
With the very kind bell boy at the Lodge. He is the one who snagged us a wheelchair to borrow. We had only brought Dave's Dad's walker and it was too hard for him to use in the snow and ice.
The snow in the parking lot was so high above me.
