Labor Day weekend - Washington Lake

It's just not summer without a camping trip to Washington Lake.

We arrived late Friday night.  The next morning while Alex and Andrew were still asleep, Dave and I kayaked on the lake while it was still like glass.

We all had great luck at fishing that day.

We hiked over to Tail Lake and Shadow Lake.

I get a little ADD when fishing from the shore (I like it better in a boat).  So I ended up taking lots of photos with my phone while the guys fished these small lakes.

Sunday morning as we drove down the canyon to church we saw that the leaves are beginning to change colors.

We went to church in Oakley.  Thank heavens we can shower in our trailer.  I would have been a little embarrassed to show up there if we hadn't.

Later that day we hiked to several more lakes.

Wall Lake.

Crystal Lake

We drove over to Provo River Falls.  It's only about a five minute drive from our campground.

Dave and Alex got the coals ready so we could roast breadsticks to go with our dinner.

This is the first trip this year with Alex and Andrew (Megan had to work so she didn't join us).  We had such a great time with them.  A perfect way to end our camping summer.
