I went back to teaching school part time. Mondays and Thursdays I teach what they call MAP (Multi Age program) with 4th, 5th and 6th graders. This is all day, teaching core subjects (Math, English, Science and Social Studies). On Wednesdays I teach Science Lab. I love that I get to use an actual science lab to teach on that day. Here it is:
I did a lab about rocket science and borrowed my friend, Jodi's, rocket launcher and air compressor. She said I could use it with the grandkids before giving it back. So last Sunday we had a "blast" with it.
Cody had to get on the roof to retrieve a few stray rocket landings.
