Country mice become city mice

Saturday, during the snowstorm, we moved to downtown Salt Lake City.
I'm kind of excited to try out the urban lifestyle.  There are so many things to see and do, all within walking distance.

This is the view from one of our balconies.  I especially like it at night, when the capitol is lit up.

It takes us about 5 minutes to walk to church at the Joseph Smith Memorial building.  I discreetly took this shot during Sunday School.  It literally gave me chills to see the temple just right outside the window.  It was snowing again and looked extra special.

I am going to "seize the day" and try to enjoy as much of the city as I can for the next 6 months or so.

How fun to live right downtown. Only for 6 mos? We have at least 3 couples from Poway Stake who have moved into the City Creek complex. What a great place to be. You can walk to everything, and it is so beautiful there.
