Memorial Day 2014

Holly decided she had had enough of staying in her house and ventured out with new little Mitt for our little Memorial Day get together.

Holding him is the best thing ever.

So, our pool heater broke and we weren't going to have a pool party.  But everyone wanted to anyway.

Livie got cold pretty fast.  She has no meat on her bones to keep her warm.

There is a James under all that gear, somewhere.

No amount of cold keeps Logan from having fun.

Brigham even got in the pool.

Dad Grose and Elaine popped over for a bit.

We cooked 48 chicken legs on our new Traeger smoker/grill.  Guess how many were left at the end of the day?  If you guessed zero you are correct.  They were a hit.

I love that there is always shade under the pergola.

You would never know that Logan just finished an ice cream sandwich.

I held this one for a long time.

There is always a rough basketball game going on at some point. (Check out how green the mountain looks.  I love it.)

Thank heavens for upside down life jackets.  Best thing ever for playing basketball in the water.

Lily got sick of the sun and decided to swing in the shade.

Dave chose the shady side of the badminton  net, Cody got stuck in the sun.

The newlyweds joined us.

I think Holly and I were the only ones who didn't end up in the water at some point.  I am still holding out for when we fix the heater.  But I think everyone had a good time anyway.
