Last Saturday Dave and I had just stopped at the grocery store to get a few things after going on a 24 mile bike ride. Kathleen called Dave's cell phone to ask what the name of our favorite Japanese restaurant was. As he and I gushed about Tona on 25th street, she invited us to come with her, Jack, Lisa and Dalena. No brainer. We were sweaty and had to bring our milk and lettuce into the restaurant with us since there wasn't time to go home. Luckily I had a hat to cover my sweaty helmet head.
I can only think of two, maybe three events that would keep me from Japanese food, especially at Tona.
1- a birth, 2- a death, and 3- a marriage (depending on who was getting married)

Dalena got this, called, The Green Globe, filled with crab, spicy tuna and pure goodness. I am going to try that for sure some time. Be still my heart (and stomach).

I had a bento box. Aaaaah, I can't stand it. I want to go there. Now.

Not only was the food great, but so was the company. It was fun to be with the Arrington folks. And it isn't often we get to see Dalena. Thanks for inviting us, guys!

Oh! We're so glad that you came! BTW, I'm stealing your pic of the Green Globe, okay? Soooo cool! Dalena loved Tona! (So did we!)
That Green Globe looks like art, not food.
