"I like to ride my bicycle, I like to ride my bike."

We did our first ride of the season on the Ogden/Weber River Parkway.  We always start at the mouth of Ogden Canyon.

I can't say why, but I liked this red train engine that we passed.

Over the years we ride past these carved dolphins and I always think after we whizz past that "next time I want to get a picture of those".  I finally did, haha.

Under the bridge at Riverdale Road.

We turned around near the mouth of Weber Canyon, but not quite that far.

We didn't let this fallen tree in the path hinder us for long.  Dave and his muscles lifted our bikes up and over with ease.

As we rounded the corner back into the city we came upon this lovely sight in the distance.

We stopped at Kneaders for a little breakfast before heading back to our truck.

It's about a 22 mile ride, round trip.  I would totally recommend it to everyone.  It is mostly a flat ride.  And you hear the river most of the time, along with birds and occasionally traffic, but not really very often.

This picture was taken the next day, but I posted it here.  I was sitting in the hammock and all three of these handsome guys piled on for some cuddling.  Heaven.
