We ran another 5k - the Cherry Days race in North Ogden.
Our friends, Kent and Wendy Packer, ran it too. We have been on many Saturday morning runs with this cute couple. They are both in the same age category as we are.
We got free breakfast after this race, too.
The Hales Family Fiddlers played their hearts out, while we clogged our hearts with the breakfast.
There are very few floats in the Cherry Days Parade. Here is one of them that we passed on our way home from the breakfast.
The scouts had been busy putting up flags. We came home that morning to find ours out front.
I did a little front porch decorating.
And over the years I deck out the house more than I used to.
This is the little tribute to our dads and my grandpa, honoring their services in the Armed Forces.
I went a little Martha Stewart in the backyard setting up for our annual 4th of July family party.
We had close to 40 members of my family over.
My favorite photo of the day: Hannah and Leah showing their pool jumping skills.
This is where all those involved get splashed, dunked, half-drowned, bruised and scratched in a friendly game of pool ball.
After everyone cleared out that evening, Dave and I went over to Farr West for some Greek Food.
God bless the USA.
